One Shoot Day, 20 Pieces of Content

The most expensive part of video is getting a crew, gear and your people in the same place at the same time. Once that's happened, every extra minute you capture is cheap. Plan it right and one shoot day can fuel your marketing for months.

What 20 pieces looks like

Here's a realistic example from a single day with two interviews and a few hours of b-roll:

  • 1 hero brand video, 60 to 120 seconds, for your website and YouTube
  • 1 30-second version for paid ads
  • 2 full-length interview cuts, one per person
  • 6 vertical clips for Reels, TikTok and Shorts, each built around one strong quote
  • 3 b-roll loops for website headers and email banners
  • 4 still photos for LinkedIn, press and your About page
  • 2 quote graphics pulled from the interviews
  • 1 behind-the-scenes clip

That's 20 deliverables, and the shoot only happened once.

Plan for it before the cameras roll

  • Ask open questions. "Tell me about the day you…" gets a story. Yes-or-no questions get yes or no.
  • Frame for vertical. We shoot wide enough that a 9:16 crop still works, or run a second camera turned vertical.
  • Shoot b-roll with the edit in mind. Hands at work, product details, the team laughing, your signage, wide shots of the space.
  • Grab stills between setups. Dedicated photos, or frame grabs from high-resolution footage, give you a photo library for the year.

Roll it out over time

Twenty pieces posted in one week is a burst. Twenty pieces spread over three months is a presence. A simple plan: launch the hero video on your site, release one vertical clip a week, post the full interviews to YouTube and LinkedIn, and use the b-roll loops in email and ads.

Why it works

Social platforms reward consistency, and people usually need to see a brand several times before they act. Repurposed content doesn't feel repetitive when each piece leads with a different idea. And because the crew and setup are already paid for, each extra deliverable only costs editing time. That's the cheapest way to make your video budget go further.
